The Orca Praia Hotel provides you several bars and restaurants at
your disposal.

For your entertainment we provide you a varied daily entertainment program available at reception, which you may enjoy while tasting Portuguese and regional drinks along with our international and varied range cocktails at the Gaivota Bar. The Gaivota Bar is open from 18h30 to midnight and is located
near the reception on floor -1.

Guests on Bed & Breakfast, taking a minimum of 4 evening meals, will receive half a bottle of house wine and 1/4 litre mineral water at the special offer € 40.00 per person. Please reserve in advance at reception.

All accommodation units are fitted with 100% cotton Portuguese-made bedding. We change linen twice a week.

Madeira has an excellent climate, with sun and good temperatures
throughout the year. Average temperature is 23ºc in Summer and
19ºC in Winter. The sea water temperature is equally moderate due
to the influence of the Gulf hot stream, with the average of 22ºC in
the summer and 17ºC in winter. The north coast is more exposed to
the northerly winds, therefore it is colder and damper than the south
coast. Another reason, is the intense amount of vegetation in that
area. South coast is more protected due to the mountains located on
the central part of the island (Pico Ruivo and Pico do Arieiro) which
protect the South coast from the cold winds, influencing in that way
the South cost’s temperatures turning them hotter than the north cost.
This thermal regularity is also a consequence of the Oceanic location,
due to the stream of movement from the Canary Islands, which keep
the waters crystal clear and waters regular during all year around.

Any damage or misconduct committed voluntarily or involuntarily by the guest, which may damage the property and property of the Hotel will be compensated

It is served in the Panorama Restaurant in a varied buffet or a la carte from 18:30 to 21:00

find a variety “à la carte” service. From light snacks service you may
also enjoy Portuguese and Regional specialities. To complement your

To avoid any late or last minute confusion, we would strongly recommend that you pay your room bill the day before checking out. All payments should be done in cash or credit card.
